Equipping the Next Generation for Ministry

We often hear the importance of making Jesus’ last command our first concern. But how does that work in a family setting? How do you instill in your children a passion for ministering the gospel of Jesus Christ? Does good parenting consist of more than simply raising good kids? How do you balance a ministry vision with the practical needs of a family? Loren Wissmann will be sharing the Biblical principles – and resulting journey of adventure – the Lord has led for their family over the past 30 years. Along the way, you’ll glean helpful information and expanded vision of how God wants to use your household for His glory.

Loren Wissmann is the father of 13 children ranging in age from 28 to 3. He and his wife, Gloria, are from Milford, Nebraska, but have spent much of the past few years traveling in family music and teaching ministry. Since their family’s beginnings, they have sought the Lord specifically in the area of deepening their Christian walk and the principles of passing down a godly heritage to the next generation.

Whether starting an industrial business, teaching home Bible studies, or ministering through music, their goal is to utilize God’s design for the family unit. Working together as a team, the Wissmanns share both the labor and joys of serving the Lord and investing in eternity. (2 Cor. 4:18)
